Jessica Alba Inspired

Just a quick post of my face of the day. This look is inspired by Jessica Alba in Revlon Colorburst ad. The look is pretty simple except for the vibrant red lips. In this ad, she's wearing Revlon Colorburst in Crimson.

For face, I use my Revlon Photoready Foundation in Medium Beige and Revlon Colorstay Concealer in Medium for my under-eye area. Since she doesn't seem to have any blush on, so I skip blush and apply NARS Laguna Bronzer. And then I lightly set my t-zone area with my NARS Loose Powder in Beach.

For the eyes, since her eyemakeup looks almost invisible, I just use some warm brown eye shadows for this look. I mix the browns from my Inez palette in Venice and Amsterdam for the lids and a little bit on the lower lashlines. I also skip eyeliner because the main focus should be the eyelashes. Unfortunately my lashes are not as long nor as many as hers. But I did curl my lashes first and then apply Maybelline Volum' Express Cat Eye Mascara. And then I fill my brows with Viva Eyebrow Pencil.

And for the lips, of course Revlon Colorburst in Crimson.

So that's Jessica Alba's simple look. Hope you enjoy!

You pulled it off so well! I tried putting red lipstick on a few times before but it made me hesitant to go outside. Somehow it felt so not me >.<

I've been meaning to try NARS loose powder too. How's the oil control on you?

Thanks for your comment! If you grew up in Papua, where did you develop such good English?!
